The tale of Scott and a snail

I do a stroller run with friends every Tuesday morning.  Scott does GREAT with Mark: holding his hand (usually not too tightly) and talking to him or "reading" him books.  We run along Steven's Creek Trail under 2 highways and over one (on a huge pedestrian bridge where I taught Scott to yell "Go Mommy!") and to the NASA Research property.  Here we let the children out for a break.  Scott has been finding snails and last week the snails were all locked in their shells!  We think this is because of the unusual freezes out here; they sealed themselves in for protection.

Ever seen snails like this?

I love how curious he is and his intense facial expression in this photo! I also LOVE that you have him encourage you on the tough part!!! Awesome!

We went to a soccer game last night, and unfortunately is was just boring. I think it's because their defenses were so good that no one scored. Anyways, Daniel thinks Scott and Mark should play something exciting so we never have to watch a soccer game. But we'll totally be there if they like it!

Nope, I've never seen a frozen snail. When I tried to look it up online, it just directed me to recipes of how to eat frozen snails. Um, no thank you, Internet.
