Mario Brothers

Meet little Mario ...

and Luigi!

(It's very difficult to get a photo of a toddler standing still in an exciting new costume.)
We went to Google's Boogle party today and it was so fun. I'm very glad our friends got us an invite! Happy dress up to all of you.

Rasbliutto

Rasbliutto is a Russian word that means, the internet tells me, the feeling you have for someone you used to be in love with but aren't anymore.

The Russian language is seeming less frigid now.  Perhaps if I had read more of War and Peace I'd know how romantic they are over there.

Oh no you didn't.

Costumes for brothers

Most holidays (okay, most days) are more fun with little kids, especially Halloween.  We scored an invite to the event that the whole town will be talking about: GOOGLEWEEN.  All those clever, creative people love the costumes and I've been thinking hard about how to decorate our little guys, especially since this will probably be the last year that I get to choose for Scott.

1.  A few months ago Scott's favorite word was "Mine" and Bridget suggested dressing him as a seagull and Mark in a complimentary fashion as a seashell, or sailor, or merman.  I like that idea a lot, but now Scott says so many words.

2.  I have an adorable chili pepper costume Karen gave us that doubles as a winter baby warmer, and I thought about making Scott a mariachi.

3.  We also have this incredible pair of authentic lederhoesen that Luke's grandmother brought baby Luke from Germany and that look ADORABLE on Wagner boys.

4.  But our 4 and 5 year old neighbors had the winning suggestion: the Mario Brothers.  It seems perfect for a tech-y, nerdy Halloween party and -- BONUS -- I get to draw little fake mustaches on the boys.  I. Love. Fake. Mustaches.  (reference: my past several Halloween costumes)

Now I just need to figure out how to make those hats.  Any ideas??

Elephant Gun

Check out this song, especially the choreography beginning at 1:20.

I want to move like that.

Hanging 10 on 10/10/'10

Posts from Team Wagner have slowed down recently, but that's about all that has. Mark is growing at an extremely rapid rate (can you say that 3 x fast?), hitting 12-and-a-quarter pounds at 3 weeks. The Koop side of the family has been racking up frequent flier miles at a rapid rate, too, with Mom & K coming out to visit and throw Scott a 2nd birthday party last week. And last weekend we checked 2 adventures off our CA To Do list: we hiked the San Andreas fault line and went surfing. (Well, L surfed, we watched.)

He says the wet suit made him warm in the 50-something degree water.  I say it made him HAWT.  Grrr, baby!

A little baby for you before I go:
