Our gentle giant

Little Mark is 2 months old today.  He weighs just shy of 16 pounds, putting him in the 99.5th percentile.  His length and head circumference are also in the 90 - 95th percentiles.  Whoa.  At this morning's pediatrician visit, he got a set of immunizations and we were warned of three possible side effects: fever, fussiness, and/or sleepiness.

Our gentle giant is now snoozing comfortably in his cradle, as he has been all afternoon.

It's like being mother to a living, breathing doll (who has really great shoes).  (More on the new Ponseti shoes tomorrow ... his casts came off on Wednesday and it's been GREAT to see those little legs!)

Good heavens, I had no idea he was so huge! I mean, he looks pretty big in the pictures, but geez, what an armful to be carrying around. You are going to be a muscley beast of a woman by the time I see you for Christmas, if you are carrying Mark around all day.

Way to go, Jenn! You are awesome. I thought Max was huge (at his 2 month visit, he was 14 lbs 10 oz), but Mark puts him to shame!
