A few new Scott stories:

Scott likes to look at my belly and talk about babies, though I'm sure it's all very confusing to him. He sits down and points at my shirt and says "Open?" which means to lift it up, and then he sometimes talks to my belly button, or hands it toys. Today he said "Drink?" and went to get his sippy cup and tried to give a sip to my belly button. That's very sweet.

Scott also loves TRUCKS. Today I pointed to a cement truck and he looked confused and asked "Mint?", pointing to his mouth. (We got a box of those really good 3 hr breath mint things yesterday and have been eating lots.)

He sleeps in the big bed! It's a twin mattress on the floor and he's doing really well in there. He's been there almost 2 weeks. In the mornings, he trots into our room (I usually wake up just in time to hear his footsteps coming down the hall), says "Mommy. Daddy." and lays down with us for 20 or 30 minutes before getting up for the day. It is WONDERFUL. It is so sweet. I would not have believed it during the infant months of screaming to sleep and waking up so frequently. I hope I can have a better sense of perspective with baby #2.

lol Love your stories! I wonder what Scott does think about there being a baby inside your tummy, but I also remember being totally unconcerned about it when I was little and Mom was pregnant with the younger guys. I never really wondered how they got out of there, which is pretty oblivo if you ask me.

Also, how sweet is it that he will come lay down with you so you can gradually get up. Is he getting up at a reasonable hour yet? (our ideas of reasonable are probably not the same any more.) Tootles!
